Infuse with lightening and make it a full blown faith build. Get ATT up to 20 for a few spell slots, get Faith up to 40 or 50. Get some decent armour and then get the Lightening clutch ring from Sanctum (DLC) - prepare to hit like a truck. Get a medium shield. For Fashion get Heides gear or Elite knights gear.

The only spear i DO have is a Winged Spear, which has a Dex requirement of 18 (IIRC). What kind of Dex bolstering will i have to do to get to some of these options? It has a swing attack as well. The Partizan is my favorite spear because of the swing attack. It's kind of the Estoc of spears. Any weapon that isn't obviously garbage is good for PVE. Some are great, but a good weapon that suits you is better than a great one that doesn't.
Heide Spear isn't optimal for a DEX build. It's good when going for FTH and a lightning-infusion (Silverblack Spear is a similar story, but with dark (FTH+INT) instead). You can also use a Soul Vessel and re-spec to a STR-build for Gargoyle Bident, since it's the strongest spear as well as one of the best weapons in the game at 50 STR.wecantaim 8 years ago #6.
